This year’s most hyped AI Solution by Sam Altman (CEO @ openai) is ChatGPT, an AI driven general purpose chatbot system that can provide assistance about literally anything that exists! Going from recipe for some random Japanese noodles to writing your own books using a few keywords.

This sounds super exciting and should reduce problems, right?

Since, OpenAI developed this to be decentralized, free to use and Open-source, it has a great disadvantage to be exploited on bigger levels than it is being used for right now in the name of “contribution to a better future”.

How are people actually exploiting ChatGPT.

ChatGPT is developed in such a way with the aid of NLP (Natural Language Processing) it can literally read handwritten statements and take input leading the bot to solving exam papers for students with utter convenience.

Similarly, in another case a cyber security specialist team discovered that anyone with minimal knowledge about hacking can break into sensitive information all over internet as it has no limitations and can provide an answer to your queries.

A few AI researchers discovered in the very same way that ChatGPT can teach you to run and operate smuggling and trafficking rings or a guide to use firearms without any verification or something much worse.

The list just goes on as the scope of possibilities is limitless.

Conclusion.

The year 2022 was a great success for the AI community, there were some great advancements in the line of Deep Learning. Some great tools & solutions were developed that could have been highlighted more but were easily overshadowed by ChatGPT. If you take a trip down the memory lane of last year, numerous organizations have profited from AI, improving various segments of the market like Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, Human Resources, Finance and Strategy development and so much more.

In 2023, these advancements are going to continue to grow more and more and as the reader you can decide whether you see that as a plausible future yet not disruptive. AI can lead to big things but surely ChatGPT is not it!
